Does the repair kit (leather, vinyl or fabric) work?

The repair kit does work provided you follow the instructions carefully. Some stages in the process are critical to get correct in order for a quality repair.

Is the Repair Kit (leather, vinyl or fabric) suitable for all repairs?

The repair kit is definitely suitable for small repairs/blemishes. If you need to fix a damaged spot larger then the size of a 50cent piece, we would then recommend you contact a professional repairer to assess the damage for you instead.

Is it hard to use myself?

If you are an astute person who is quite the handyman and works well in colour matching, then you would be able to complete the repair yourself, provided you follow the instructions step by step.

Does it take a long time to repair the damage?

The most time consuming part of the process is colour matching your product. You want to make sure you get it as close as possible, so it may take a numberof goes at getting it right.

If I make a mistake, will it ruin the product?

It is strongly recommended that you practice before you actually apply any of the product on to the damaged area. However the paint will wipe off immediately with a rag- it does also depend on the type of grain the surface is as you might find some of the paint still between the grain. I recommend you do not use any harsh solvents on the surface to remove the excess paint. You must follow the instructions carefully.
